The 'Ace Rider' Belt Buckle

The 'Ace Rider' buckle is the first in a new series of hand fabricated buckles from Winstonbuckles.com that will have a total of 10 made when finished. Each buckle is carved with a gold lip mother of pearl skull of a different look but each having a bullet hole through the head and out the back of the buckle. The eyes are glass taxidermy style with the jaw being carved separate and engulfed in hand fabricated sterling silver flames from bottom to top. Each work Winston has created over his 32 year career has been made as a one off. There is no possible way to duplicate any of his work into what would be considered true stone lithographs or copies. This in it self is why the buckles have gone from 880.00 cost items just a few years ago to $3000.00 to $7000.00 works today in down town New York City. Each buckle will have a poem scribed on its back side regarding his thoughts of the Vet's from the United States. It reads as follows:

'ACE RIDER' Fighting for our freedom near and far, so many there are. So long ago and yet still today, how many more will have gone away. Lost souls on many a battle field, each warring a different units shield. It's with the Ace of Spades we ride, always in remembrance of those who died.

Winston's works can be found on his web site at winstonbuckles.com and you can even call him on his personal phone from the same web site.
